Star Golf Grips have become my favorite grip for my golf clubs. There are several reasons why I like Star Golf Grips.
The two models I like are the Classic Wrap and the Sidewinder. Both styles come in three sizes; standard, midsize, and undersize. Also both grips come in different colors, with the sidewinder having the most options. If you are looking for an oversize or jumbo grip look at the Star Tour Grip.
Watch my YouTube video where I show how to change your own grips. It is an easy process and requires minimal equipment. Learning to change your own grips will save you a lot of money.
The sidewinder is a basic grip that has great feel and tac. It will remind you of a tour velvet grip except it will last much longer. It comes in three sizes and multi colors.
The Star Classic Wrap is a great grip. The same Star rubber that has the feel and longevity of all their grips. The wrap is available in three sizes and multi colors.
The Star Tour Grip is a reduced taper grip, so you get a built up grip. It comes in two sizes; standard and oversized. This is a great jumbo grip. Multi colors available.
Golf Pride is my other choice in grips. I get new clubs every year from Callaway and I choose the Golf Pride Tour Velvet. They do not offer Star grips. When I change a grip I then install Star. The two most popular grips from Golf Pride are the Tour Velvet and the Wrap. Take a look at their large selection of grips.
If you want to change your own grips you will need some basic tools. A hooked blade to remove old grips. Along with tape and solvent to put on new grips. Here is the basic kit to get going.
